Listing agents will sometimes improperly identify a home as having a private pool, when in fact it does not, and it is actually just in a community with a community pool. Unfortunately we cannot make that distinction here, and must show all listings where the listing agent has said it has a private pool, whether it really does or not. You will need to look at each property's photos to see if it looks like a private back yard (or inside) pool, or just a community pool. Other considerations for pools in !state, include our cold weather. Unlike warmer states, a pool in !state will generally need to be drained in the winter, or heated to keep it from freezing! Sometimes, it may be better to look for a home in a community that has a community pool, or plan to find and use a !city community center, which may have an indoor heated pool.
